My passion for engineering began in my first 10 years. I always watched F1 at home (Fernando Alonso was the national idol), and I dreamed of being a racing engineer.
Step by step, I advanced in my studies, until I finally entered university.
When I had the opportunity to choose what studies I wanted to pursue, I chose Mechanical Engineering, not only because I am passionate about both structural calculation and design, but also because it is one of the most complete engineering fields today.
I finally managed to achieve my degree in mechanical engineering, defending it with a Final Degree Project (TFG) based on the design, calculation and optimization of a logistics warehouse for a company in my town.
This project consisted of locating two industrial warehouses, with an interior warehouse that connected both as a corridor, to be able to store products before their distribution. Both industrial warehouses needed loading docks, for which we took advantage of the uneven terrain and avoided having to spend part of the budget on earthworks.
Finally, the project was carried out successfully, since I carried it out while I was doing my business internship. Today, this industrial logistics warehouse is a point of reference for the company when it comes to distributing its products throughout the region.
Below, I attach several plans of the project that was carried out.
