First European competition weekend of the season. It was a weekend marked mainly by the tyres brought by Maxxis for this race, as these tyres didn't even last a full race. This was one of the reasons why several of my drivers could not make it to the final (blowouts and punctures on the left rear).
As for the kart setup and development, I think we were clear on what line to follow. Unfortunately, in qualifying (both the team's and my fault) we didn't know how to read the evolution of the track, causing us not to fine-tune the balance of the kart.
For the qualifying heats we had a pretty good rhythm, achieving with all the drivers fast race laps, sectors in purple and lapping in the top times, but after the bad qualifying we didn't get great results in the results.
Anyway, a good weekend to collect all the data about the drivers, the setup and, above all, the tyres to have a good base for next week.
Unexpected tyre problems also meant that we had to take care and manage our tyres much more than we should have, not lasting almost a full race, which affected us strongly in terms of the comebacks needed to correct the poor qualifying.
With everything already set for next week's CIK FIA European Championship.
